المركز العربي للتطوير الزراعي مؤسسة تنموية غير حكومية غير هادفة للربح مرخص رسمياً في القدس وكذلك مرخص من السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية استناداً للقانون الفلسطيني، المركز متخصص في مجال الإقراض الصغير ويقدم الخدمات المالية الداعمة للمنتجين الفلسطينيين الفقراء وذوي الدخل المتدني، ويسعى المركز لدعم صغار المبادرين الفلسطينيين من خلال نشاطات مولدة للدخل بين الفقراء وذوي الدخل المتدني. يقدم المركز الخدمات التمويلية والتدريبية الداعمة لمناطق الريف الفلسطيني والمناطق الفلسطينية الأكثر فقراً والمتأثرة من الظروف السياسية الصعبة.

The Arab Center for Agricultural Development was established in 1988 as a project under the name “the United Agricultural Company” in both Jericho and Ramallah cities. The Company aimed at building the economic capacities of small farmers, who were facing risks of collapsing during the Palestinian First Intifada, through in-kind financing. At the beginning, the Company targeted the agricultural areas in the Jordan Valley and then it extended its work to include the Center West Bank and Nablus in the north West Bank. In 1993, this project was institutionalized to become a developmental organization registered as non-government non-profit organization in/Jerusalem under the name “Arab Center for Agricultural Development” as a center specialized in financing small enterprises. The Center identified its general objectives in developing the agricultural sector and helping small farmers through financing, marketing and technical support. In 1996, ACAD opened a branch in Gaza Strip.

مؤسسة أهلية تنموية تساهم في جهود تنمية القطاع الزراعي والريفي عن طريق بناء الشراكات المبنية على التكاملية والمهنية وإشراك الفئات المستهدفة، بما فيهم، المزارعين والريفيين المهمشين وخاصة النساء والشباب. وتدعم المبادرات التي تشجع على خلق فرص العمل وبناء القدرات وتطوير البنية التحتية الزراعية والإنتاجية وتسهيل الحصول على فرص التمويل لتنفيذ المشاريع الصغيرة.

A non-governmental development organization that contributes to the development of the agricultural rural sector through building partnerships based on complementarity and professionalism and involvement of target groups including marginalized farmers and rural people especially women and youth. ACAD supports initiatives that encourage generation of job opportunities, capacity building and development of the agricultural and productive infrastructure and facilitates finance opportunities to establish small enterprises.

1. Capacity building of farmers and cooperatives to improve their production and economic situation and defend their individual and collective rights. 2. Contribution to improvement of food security and preservation of environment in Palestine. 3. Contribution to provision of emergency and relief support and development of areas suffering from disasters and Area “C”. 4. Working on the Center’s sustainability and developing its programs in service of the agricultural and rural sector.
