تمّ تأسيس جمعيّة اللّد الخيريّة في عام 1995م وباشرت في أنشطتها في العام 1996 حيث تعمل الجمعيّة في مجالات التنمية المجتمعيّة والصحيّة والتربويّة والنفسيّة والاجتماعية والتأهيليّة والتدريب عبر العديد من المشاريع والبرامج المختلفة وذلك في محافظة نابلس والشمال بشكل عام (أحياء المدينة والقرى المجاورة والمخيمات) والمنطقة الشرقيّة من محافظة نابلس بشكل خاص والتي يقطنها حوالي 70 ألف نسمة

تأمل جمعية اللّد الخيرية أن ترى جميع الفئات المهمشة في محافظة نابلس وشمال الضفة وقد تمكنت من أسباب الحياة الكريمة , وأن يكون لها دوراً ومساهمة في مناصرة وتمكين ورفع المعاناة الواقعة على هذه الفئات من نساء وأطفال ومعاقين وشباب وأسر محتاجة وذلك من خلال الخدمات المختلفة التي تقدمها الجمعية في القطاعات الاجتماعية والتثقيفية والتدريبية ومجال التوعية والتوجيه والإرشاد النفسي والصحي , وذلك باستخدام الامكانات المتاحة واستثمار قدرات الطواقم البشرية المدربة والمؤهلة مهنياً وفنياً والمحافظة على روح العمل الطوعي جنباً إلى جنب مع استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في إدارة هذه الطواقم لتنفيذ خدمتها .

El-Lid Charitable Society is committed to helping marginalized groups within the Palestinian society to improve their living conditions. Through its social, educational and training programs El-Lid Charitable Society endeavors to meet the developmental, educational and health needs of its target groups. The work of the Society is carried out by its qualified staff and by a large pool of volunteers, offering a variety of training – IT, language, health - and mental health counseling.

تسعى إلى المساهمة في تحسين الظروف المعيشية للفئات المهمشة والمحتاجة من الأطفال والنساء والمعاقين والشباب في محافظة نابلس وشمال الضفة وفق الحاجات المتجددة لها , وكذلك المساهمة في تقديم الدعم المادي والمعنوي بشكل مهني متميز والسعي إلى توفير برامج التوعية المجتمعية وذلك من منطلق تعزيز مفاهيم المجتمع المدني ومناصرة وتمكين فئاته المهمشة .

El-Lid Charitable Society seeks to provide high-quality and professional support to disadvantaged members of the Palestinian society by offering developmental, educational and in-kind assistance. We provide much needed community awareness programs to marginalized groups within the society: children, women, youth and people with special needs. These programs are aimed at improving the living conditions of disadvantaged individuals as well as promoting the value of an active civil society committed to targeted advocacy.
